Tasting Notes

Grown on one of the most spectacular vineyards in California, the 2022 Monte Rosso Zinfandel exudes a sense of place. Old Vines (planted in 1900) grow in red, volcanic soils more than 1,000 feet up on Moon Mountain. The combination of old vines, soil, and elevation impart a gentleness and elegance to the wine.

It’s a pretty ruby color in the glass, opening with bright berry aromas of ripe red cherries. Subtle notes of white pepper and allspice complement the berry aromas. Luscious fruit continues on the palate, where its vibrant acidity gives the wine a slight tension. The balance , elegance, and firm texture make it a perfect wine to pair with your favorite burger!
