For the 2007 vintage of our signature Crane Creek Cuvee we have carefully selected fruit from four distinct appellations to ensure that only the best of the best fruit is harvested for this blend. You are greeted first by aromas of vanilla, sweet tobacco and a multiplicity of dark red fruits. This wine is plush on the palate with mouth filling flavors of fresh raspberry jam and black cherry. Lively acidity and firm supple tannins lead into a long lingering finish.
This wine is notably age-worthy but can also be enjoyed tonight with a rib roast, chanterelle mushroom risotto and roasted cauliflower.

The Crane Creek Cuvée retains its reputation as the flagship wine of Lambert Bridge. Our 2008 vintage continues the tradition started over fifteen years ago by selecting the best wines from the best barrels. Uncompromising attention during blending insures our Cuvée is something exceptional. The blends might change year to year but the Crane Creek Cuvée continues to represent our commitment to delivering our utmost best.
Deep and concentrated flavors of black raspberry, cassis, and dark plum are supported by fine tannins, with a supple texture and sweet oak. With a little hint of violet and anise aroma in the nose, a few wine glasses and a couple good friends quickly changes an ordinary night into the perfect evening. That’s not to say the wine doesn’t have extraordinary cellaring potential. Reminiscent of the great Pomerol wines of Bordeaux, the Crane Creek Cuvée is a perfect snapshot of the 2008 vintage and could be serious contender for wine of the year in 2021… if you can wait that long!

Our Crane Creek Cuvee is an exceptional blend of hand-selected vineyard blocks that are farmed to produce a style reminiscent of the famed ‘right bank’ regions of Pomerol and St-Emilion in Bordeaux. Tireless hours spent in the vineyard throughout the growing season, coupled with meticulous berry sorting at the winery, ensures that only the highest quality fruit makes it past the crush pad.
With a heady mélange of dark fruit and autumnal spice box aromatics that call upon fond memories spent fireside on a brisk harvest evening, the 2009 vintage shows a distinguished balance and elegance that is built to last. Brambly marionberry pie notes waltz with floral elements of rose petals and sweet violets for complex layers of flavor that reveal themselves as the wine continues to breathe. Supple fruit tannins and our winemakers’ deft hands with French oak meld beautifully with a vibrant acidity, lending a refined, velvety texture and richness to the finish that begs for another sip…and another…and another…
