Our 2005 Merlot exhibits vivid plum and black cherry fruit that is well proportioned and focused. This wine is a rich, deep red and with 1½ years in the bottle prior to release has had the time to develop a plush texture. The tannins are sleek and refined with excellent balance and modest grip on the finish. It is very well integrated with ripe black cherry, dark licorice and warm chocolate ganache flavors.
This wine is well balanced and enjoyable and is very versatile when pairing with food. We recommend serving this vintage of our Merlot with hearty spaghetti Bolognese, oven roasted rack of lamb with a red wine reduction or the ultimate blue cheese and bacon burger hot off the grill.

The 2006 Merlot is bursting with flavors of luscious red plum, intense black cherry and dried cranberry. The 2006 vintage is once again bound to be a favorite with aromas of caramel and pie spices of nutmeg and allspice, this vintage is once again bound to be a favorite. This wine is elegant, graceful and supple with caressing fine tannins and impressive structure.
From the gentle entry to the long lasting, juicy finish we recommend serving this wine with wild mushroom Gruyere pizza, BLT made with late season tomatoes and applewood smoked bacon or a rich flour-less chocolate cake.
