100% Viognier

Winemaking
Just 219 cases of pure bliss are reserved for our Liquid Assets Club members. “Why not make more?” you might be wondering. The cold growing conditions and rain in June of 2011 affected the fruit set resulting in fewer clusters. Despite the mild temperatures, our small crop was able to fully ripen and left us wishing for more of this wonderful aromatic varietal.

Winemaker Notes
To preserve the Viognier’s beautiful aromatics and fruit, we finished fermentation in French oak barrels and then barrel aged for 4 months. This wine has striking aromas of lemon blossom, honeydew melon and a hint of sweet toasted oak. The palate is bright with grapefruit and fresh peach notes that magically come together in flavors reminiscent of a warm summer day.
